Prevent Lead Poisoning LA (PLPLA) works with communities across Los Angeles County to raise awareness about lead poisoning. We provide education to families on effective lead poisoning prevention strategies, improve access to blood lead testing, and train rental property owners on lead safe work practices. Our goal is to reduce lead poisonings by preventing exposures before they occur. This project is a collaboration between Impact Assessment, Inc. and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
